OUR VISION: SIMPLY UNIQUE

Hardwood Creations began in the June of 1997 with a vision to create quality cabinets that are not only functional throughout, but thoughtfully and uniquely designed. From the beginning we have been a family run business that is dedicated to providing a top quality experience including full service packages from design consultation and building, to custom finishes, installation and final touch-ups. We work closely with our clients and ensure that their needs are met throughout the process.

We have worked with some of Charlotte’s finest home builders and interior designers to deliver award winning custom designs that have appeared in many area publications notably, Charlotte Home and Garden. We believe the most important thing we can offer as a company is a good relationship with our customers along with an exceptional product in their home.

Our process can be broken down into the following five stages:

  • Estimate
  • Design
  • Production
  • Installation
  • Touch-ups

ESTIMATE

The first step is to provide drawings.  These can be anything from a hand sketch with notes to detailed architectural elevations.  Within 2 – 3 business days you can expect to receive an estimate based on these drawings.

DESIGN

You will be provided drawings of your new space (including 3D images).  We then invite you to our showroom to further revise these drawings and fine tune details until you are 100% satisfied and confident to move forward. During this phase you will get to customize: –  Paint/stain color (100% custom, we can match any sample provided) –  Cabinet style (European Frameless, Traditional Inset Face Frame, Modern) –  Materials, inserts & wood species –  And much more! The design phase will usually take between 1 – 3 weeks.

  • Paint/Stain Color 100%
  • Customer Satisfaction 100%

PRODUCTION

Your job is now in production.  You can sit back and relax confidently knowing we will take care of the rest! Our production lead time may vary depending on our workload; however, this will generally take anywhere from 6 – 8 weeks.

INSTALLATION

Our full-time installation team will come out and install your cabinetry. We pride ourselves in working closely with your builder and site manager throughout the entire process.  This ensures on-time delivery and it also means we pick up on every slight change that happens throughout your home as it’s being built. Installation times can dramatically vary with the size and complexity of the project.  Usually, it will take between 1 – 2 weeks.

TOUCH-UPS

Within the last week or two of your building project our Field Supervisor will schedule a time to handle all final touches for your new cabinetry. During this phase many of our clients like to custom select door and drawer hardware and instruct our team on-site ensuring it is placed in the perfect position.   At this time, we also repair any damage that may have occurred by other trades during the building process. This process generally takes 1 – 3 days.
